Whether you run an online store or simply need a convenient way to send shipments from time to time, this service is for you. We collect the shipment from your location and deliver it directly to the recipient’s doorstep. Naturally, you can track the shipment throughout the entire delivery process.
Delivery
PostNord Home Groupage provides signed delivery of larger consignments throughout Norway.
For PostNord Home Groupage, a delivery appointment is automatically arranged with the recipient. The recipient can reschedule the delivery to the next available delivery day if needed.
Delivery is made to the curbside or the first accessible point at the delivery address. Shipments are delivered against signature, although the recipient may choose to waive the signature requirement.
With PostNord Home Groupage, your customer can:
- Reschedule delivery to the next day
- Choose delivery without signature
Recipients are notified by SMS or email with delivery information and are given the opportunity to make changes before delivery.

Sweden
From 1 January 2024, the additional service "Heavy" is mandatory for all parcels weighing between 20 and 35 kg, regardless of product type. The change does not apply to goods transported on their own load carrier.
The sender must mark the parcel with "Heavy" on at least three sides of the shipment. If the sender has not selected the Heavy service and we determine that the parcel weighs between 20 and 35 kg, an additional fee will be charged.
Germany
From 1 January 2025, German legislation requires the weight of parcels exceeding 10 kg to be specified for shipments to Germany. This requirement applies both in the Transport EDI and in the shipping documentation.
The regulation has been introduced to ensure proper handling and labelling of heavy shipments.
We always recommend specifying the weight of parcels destined for Germany in both the EDI and on the parcel label, regardless of weight. If the required labelling is missing, the parcel will be labelled in Hamburg, resulting in a one-day delivery delay.
